Installation services are available for the Hondata S300, S300-J, and Hondata boost solenoid parts.

The 92-95 “Golden Era” Civic and Integra generation ecu’s are S300 compatible only. USDM OBD1 ecu’s are a generally rectangular in shape while the JDM OBD1 ecu’s are mixed and can either have a square ecu body or a rectangular ecu body (like USDM ecu’s).  The square JDM ecu’s require a Hondata ‘S300-J’ board and USDM/JDM rectangular ecu’s require the standard ‘S300’ board. S300 and S300-J boards are not cross compatible between rectangular and square ecu bodies. So, please make sure you pay attention to the ecu body type when purchasing an S300.

You MUST provide a compatible and known working OBD1 ECU for an S300 installation (see compatibility ECU list below)

If need be, contact me to confirm your OBD1 ecu is compatible for an S300 install, and/or if you need an S300 compatible OBD1 ecu – I may have one on hand to sell you.

S300 Installation Inclusions

  • Inspection and bench testing of your donor ECU prior to install
I will contact you if any problems are found with your ECU, such as old leaky capacitors or a possibly bad IC17 chip both contributing to no fuel pump operations.
  • Removal of any existing aftermarket chip + socket installation (if applicable)
  • S300 board installation & required soldering work for S300 supporting parts
  • ECU case modification for USB port access
  • Hondata Boost Solenoid parts (if applicable)
  • S300 Compatible OBD1 ECU List

USDM and some JDM OBD1 ECU’s share a rectangular shape that are compatible with the standard S300 board.
